Mercadante Woodfired Pizzeria Carlton

We first discovered this restaurant about 10 years ago when our children were young, and we immediately fell in love with it. The chef entertained our kids by letting them play with dough and creating shapes like a dinosaur and a snake. The chef then added olives and other toppings before cooking them. The kids were thrilled and had a great time! The food has consistently been delicious over the years, and now that we have relocated to Melbourne, we make sure to visit twice a month. Whether it's just our family of four or a group of friends, the service is always excellent. We have even visited for afternoon tea, and the chocolate pizza is truly to die for. The restaurant can get busy, and there may be some wait times, but the lively atmosphere makes it worth it. It has become our favorite place to eat, and now that my husband enjoys wine with me, it's even better.

As a very frequent customer. Their food is amazing EVERY single time. Definitely our favourite place. Great service with a superb menu. I can recommend quite a few dishes but my absolute favourite is their seafood risotto!! It's absolutely mouth watering!
