Everything tasted incredibly fresh. I would give this place a 4.5 rating, only deducting points because each dish came out separately, resulting in some wait time. However, the delicious food made it worth the wait and I will definitely return. Surprisingly, it was not busy on a Friday night, which is a shame because this place is a hidden gem.
The tempura prawn sushi roll and miso soup were delicious, but my partner didn't enjoy his yakisoba. The restaurant had nice decor and was clean, but the service was a bit slow.
On the bright side, the sushi and okonomiyaki were amazing! The sushi had a fusion twist to it, and the okonomiyaki was the best I've ever had. I don't know what I'll do when I crave it back home in Jakarta.
Gyoza perfectly cooked, the unagi salmon sushi...fabulous. We were the only people in the restaurant for lunch. Melbourne you are missing out!! I’ll be back.
Ninja Teppanyaki is an exciting little spot, tucked away from the bustle of Spencer Street thanks to being housed down Watertank Way near the corner of Lonsdale Street. This elusive feature matches up nicely with their Ninja moniker. You can enter these premises from both Spencer and Lonsdale streets.
