Sea On Quay - Melbourne

Wanted a take-away from close by our rented Docklands apartment, and Fish and Chips fitted the bill. Small pleasant cafe area in which to wait, and watch the meal prepared. Decent value, pleasant food, tolerably-quick service.

Ate here for a late lunch before heading to South Wharf DFO, and I must commend them on their great fish and chips. My wife commented on being able to taste beer in the batter, and upon speaking to the chef, he told us he unloaded an entire can into the batter. A clean, cosy place with reasonably priced food, and I'd recommend it for a quick meal if you are in the area.

Stopped in with a colleague for lunch. Good food quality, prices ok for the area. Guy running it seemed a bit cranky so service needs improvement. Maybe he was just having one of those days. Will return to determine consistency.

We got take away fish and chips. It was delicious, the fish was great and the chips were nothing to complain about! Would go back here if ever in Melbourne again

All the reviews arnt to far from the truth on this place. We love our fish and chips and couldnt pick any negatives on this place. We had flake grilled and fried, thai spiced calamari, battered sea scallop, hamburger and some chips. Very satisfied with quality of food and service, a hard working and polite waitress brought everything out to our table outside and served water as well even without asking. Top place guys keep it up
