Soda Rock Diner - Melbourne

We had a fantastic dinner with an Americana theme. We enjoyed root beer, hot dogs, and even a hot cake. The waitstaff skated around and even put on a dance number during our meal. It truly felt like we were transported back to the 1950s rock and roll era. We had a hilarious evening and can't wait to come back again soon!

The service was really good! the personal was on roller-cats that wore 1950 inspired outfits and were so beautiful and welcoming. the atmosphere was fantastic with jukeboxes at each stand and 1950s music playing all the time. eating is delicious and classic retro american diner...food I would recommend this for the atmosphere alone, and eating is also fantastic.

Oh my god, this café is filled with Elvis memorabilia! The food is delicious and there is plenty of it. The staff is very friendly and entertaining. We loved our experience and took many photos. I highly recommend this place.

My mother, whom I brought into the diner today, was very impressed by the service. both the waitress on the shlitt shoes was the man behind the theke who took our job super friendly. the diner was easily able to...for our gluten-free needs served a very tasty chicken burger dr. pepper float. so grateful for the pleasant experience!

Loved the vibe. We stopped in for malted shakes and a chance for my 2 friends to reminisce about a recent trip to the US. Grabbed a brownie too. Was not disappointed. The staff were friendly, service was quick and loved that they were getting...around on skates.
