Except for us, the customers were all locals. we ate really good. eating is simple (like the room), but it was all fresh and very well cooked. we shared a burrata. for a starter and then I had the grilled tinten fish and my partner the Arrosto-Mutto, who was enormous, with different types of meat. the owner was Moto-Simpatico, which we show each other photos of our dogs! the price was very reasonable and I liked melendugno; a typical small town, not at all like the tourist, built coast.
I went to dinner with my partner after reading the reviews on tripadvisor and thought I would find some nice local food. the service was bad, it took about 1h15 to come in for the pasta (then gott, we took some parmigiana as an antipasto. so that we did not hunger). eating was definitely not the best we ate in the region when I asked for a glass wee (after the menu), they always insisted on a quarter liter. wein was also poor, but very cheap. we have asked about half liter water, we have 1l. but we have actually used it, all causal that everything was eating very salty. the fish (la barchetta) was fried, but the menu was not mentioned. they also said they can't give the bill because the machine doesn't work, but good... not a place I would come back to.
Small but cozy place in a very quiet city. the personal was really nice. a man. kitchen full of food from the sea. typical orchidee can also not miss. house wine for 2,50 mezzolitro was another wonder.
We had dinner for two on recommendation of a native who is a friend of the owner stefano. he could not have been more helpful and one of the kitchen staff gave a translation about the dishes. all were great, and generous when we almost rolled out of the door. very cheap and a great place to taste some of the local cuisine. fortunately back. well made stefano.
