Botanero - Melrose Park

The food was incredibly delicious and fresh. The waitresses were friendly and attentive. Our group had the chance to sample a wonderful variety of dishes they offered. We particularly enjoyed the stuffed lobster. I would definitely recommend this place for authentic seafood from the region.

We visited on Valentine's Day and really enjoyed the atmosphere. There was a live singer performing, and they even had a karaoke setup. I tried the Caldo de camaron, which was very flavorful with the perfect level of spiciness, but I was a bit disappointed that it only included shrimp—there were no potatoes or vegetables at all. On previous visits, I remember it being filled with a variety of vegetables and potatoes. My husband ordered a large mixed seafood plate, and I shared some with him since I didn’t feel full from my dish. My daughter ordered the Coctel de camaron and absolutely loved it. I would definitely return, but I might skip the Caldo next time.

This is the best seafood restaurant in the area! My favorite dish is the Hiachinango a la diabla. I also really enjoy the Micheladas. The service is outstanding; the staff is very friendly. I absolutely love this place!

Great food! All dishes I’ve tried so far have been good. If you go peak hours experience expect to wait.

See Essen Restaurant have taken a big hit after Kovid. I'm glad that had what we ordered. It seems like smaller parts. Still delicious.
