Wood Fire - Melrose

I met a good friend here for dinner. It was packed and jumped on a Friday night, we managed to sneak a table. It's a pretty small place to make reservations if you have a bigger party. I have the caprese salad that was super, very fresh and tasteful. Slices fresh tomatoes with fresh mozz and basil, with one side mixed green, on a nozzle of Balsamico glaze. My friend has the harvest salad, and she really liked it. Service was very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was lively and fun, and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. Thank you. Wood and fire! I definitely come back.

We loved the entire experience of eating in this small shop from the main road. The pizza was a revelation of the dough only perfectly carburized and fluffy light but bind enough knockout taste of tomatoes and basil. The papardeli Pasta was amazingly fleshy, perfectly structured mouth feeling and silky with meat sauce and cheese. The service was friendly and friendly and we felt at home. Especially thanks to the cooks and the staff who spoke to us and felt so welcome. We loved it and we will be back!! Very recommended place to stop in Melrose!

Haven't been in awhile. The food is still excellent and they added alot if new menu items! A must try you will not be disappointed! 4/23/22 excellent again! Love this place!

I wanted to make an order Friday night. The place was pretty crowded. I was kindly greeted by Gretchen. I told her I wanted to give an order to go and drink a drink while I was waiting. She sent me to the bar area. John Carlo was the server there. He was human, efficient and offers excellent service. I ordered a pizza and the Pappardelle Bolognese. Both were delicious. I am happy to visit again soon!

Friendly staff and seemed to be a popular place. Very extensive local beer offer. Enjoy the Arancini appetizers and salads. Villanova Pizza was also good, though just a bit too hard on the blows
