Kettleby Cross - Melton

The breakfast at this restaurant was very good overall, although there was a slight issue that was promptly addressed. It's a mystery why the cappuccino from the coffee machine was consistently lukewarm at every Wetherspoons location.

This restaurant is primarily known for its beer selection, which is of decent range and quality. However, despite recently receiving an award for having the best toilets, the men's restroom was incredibly dirty this evening, and has been in a sorry state for several weeks. The smell was overpowering and the urinals were covered in plastic sheets, resembling a crime scene.

The waitresses at this restaurant are grumpy and rude, but they serve decent food that is often below par on cold plates. Despite my complaints, nothing is done to improve the situation. The only saving grace is the consistently excellent real ale. During my recent visit, a waitress practically dismissed my concerns saying "take it or leave it, go somewhere else." The manager did offer a refund, but I declined as the only issue was the cold plate - otherwise, the Christmas lunch was tasty.

Went today for a steak Tuesday. Deal to be greeted by A arrogant woman behind the tills so not the best start when the food arrived the steak was very chewy and fatty no peas or salad I would give the meal and service a 1 10 .won 't be going back

You know what you’re getting as with any spoons. Tables were dirty but they were very busy. Staff were friendly though. Food was bang average.
