Melton Indian Restaurant

This restaurant is a hidden gem in the Melton South area, offering a diverse menu with delicious food. It's definitely worth a visit, especially with the option of value packs.

The food at this restaurant is delicious. It is reasonably priced, and the free delivery is a bonus. The delivery drivers are always friendly and polite. The naan bread can sometimes be inconsistent, but overall, everything else has been fantastic.

The serving sizes were too small for the high prices. The butter chicken we ordered, despite being labeled mild, tasted very spicy. However, the delivery was quick and the driver was friendly.

First time at this Restaurant. Unusual as the take away counter is at the rear of the room meaning that on a busy take away period people would be walking passed the dine in customers continually. Seating was comfortable. Appeared short staffed as the single male waiter was taking take away meal orders as well as dine in customers. Very attentive and required no prompting for attention. As I have found with more than one Indian restaurant. The wine glasses were 'cloudy ' appeared not washed correctly as well as the cutlery. We ordered the $20 banquet which looked quite good value, consisted of entree, simosa, tandoori chicken with a choice of butter chicken or lamb rogan Josh plus a vegetable dish with rice, bread and a desert. The entre was quite good, plenty of chicken although could have supplied a sauce with this as well as with the papadoms. We asked if we could have a butter chicken for one combined with a rogan josh for one so we could sample each, normally with the banquet it is one or the other for two. No problems. Both mains were simply superb!!! Sauces were fantastic and the meat tender especially the lamb. Plenty of rice and bread. The desert was the sweet dumplings which were very good. Overall, superb meal for the price. No wine list supplied even though it stated it was fully licensed. BYO everything I believe.

My partner and I dined here a couple of weeks ago, the service was alittle slow but the staff was very friendly.. overall the food was the highlight!
