I attended a friend's birthday party where they served a 17-inch Berkshire Macaroon Birthday cake. Unfortunately, I found it to be the worst cake I had ever tasted. My friend, feeling quite disappointed, reached out to the owner to express her concerns about the Macaroon Birthday cake. She mentioned that it tasted artificial, lacked flavor, and had terrible icing. The owner kindly offered to make her another cake, and my friend agreed, always willing to give someone a second chance. However, the chocolate cake that followed was also disappointing. The chocolate icing was thin and overly bitter, and there was no note of apology on the second cake for the poor experience with the first. The owner didn’t come to the counter to speak with my friend either. I would recommend saving your money, as these cakes are certainly not worth the price they charge.

We had a little tea party for my mom’s birthday and everything was perfect. I didn’t have to do anything but make a reservation and show up. 10/10 would recommend

Overall, the afternoon tea was a delightful experience. The pastries and tea sandwiches were excellent! The owner went above and beyond by personally checking in with us to ensure we were satisfied with the tea service. She was both professional and very accommodating.

I ordered a cake for Mother’s Day and picked it up on Friday, May 12th, but it was absolutely terrible! I couldn’t even eat it; the cake was old and stale, and it seemed like it had been made months ago. I wish I could get a refund. The buttercream icing and filling were greasy and not fresh at all, which really ruined my Mother’s Day. A fresh cake is invaluable! I understand you’re busy, but I hope you can bake fresh cakes and use real butter for your frosting in the future. I plan to share my experience on Facebook! The decorations also didn’t look professional. I spoke with someone on Tuesday, May 16th, but I was not satisfied with the response at all. I wonder how they treat all their customers. Please, always make fresh cakes unless you don’t care about the quality!

I’ve been coming here for a couple years, and absolutely love the variety and quality of desserts and drinks here. The tea especially is fantastic— even if you think you don’t like tea, I would still recommend getting some. Everything here is good so be sure to try more stuff every time you go.
