Aldo's Pizza Pies — Midtown - Memphis

My partner and I had been planning our visit to try Aldos for the first time and were definitely disappointed by our experience. We walked in and were greeted immediately by the host who appeared friendly, well dressed and open to our patronage. We were seated immediately as they were not busy and this is the last time we had any interactions with staff. Rooftop porch is a great end of summer place to eat. The misting keeps it cool even if it's still hot out. The pies are great and the hummus appetizer is tasty. Wait staff stays busy, but manages to go up and down the stairs repeatedly and still provide great service. Parking is a bit tight, so you might have to use the alley b/n Aldo's and the brewery.

Take out food was as ordered and good. Need more organization at bar for pick up/ordering to go. The bartender had to ask for help between dealing with making cocktail orders for tables, making drinks for bar top customers and dealing with to payments-orders-pick ups. Might need to re think that system on busy nights.

Really wanted to like this place had a slice of pepperoni &a slice of sausage it was nothing to write home about they barely had any sauce or cheese on them very bland staff were freindly
