My personal favorite is the incredibly delicious "Buff Stuff" burger with grilled jalapeños, and I also loved "The Cure" burger topped with braised tomatoes and smoked Gouda!
After placing our orders, we sat down, and within minutes, our food arrived. The piping hot, cheesy fries were delicious. My wife tried the Cureburger, which featured melted Gouda cheese, crispy bacon, braised tomatoes, and sautéed onions all on a scrumptious brioche bun. The special sauce added a delightful kick to the flavor. I opted for the PB&J burger, which was quite a surprise. While it doesn’t actually contain peanut butter, it does have three generous slices of pork belly on a burger patty, slathered with pepper jack cheese and topped with a dollop of jalapeño jam, all on a lightly toasted sourdough bun. You’ll definitely want to lick your fingers after this one. Pair it all with your favorite beer, and it makes for a perfect lunch. We had a great time!
During this visit, we waited so long for our shakes that we were nearly finished with our food by the time we asked for them a second time. The young woman who delivered them was cold and didn't apologize for the wait, as though it’s standard to wait 15 minutes after the food arrives. She even seemed irritated when I approached the counter to ask about it. Strangely enough, after all that time, she brought only two straws for three shakes. I frequently write reviews to promote great restaurants and outstanding servers, as I work in the food industry myself. I've had guests thank me and tip well even after mishaps like accidentally breaking wine glasses. Unfortunately, this server either had a rough day or may need to reconsider her career; she really detracted from my experience. Overall, Belly Acres has lost my business. P.S. The food is decent but not remarkable, and certainly not worth the higher prices.
Food was just ok. A bit pricey for what they give you. They do offer free kids meals with an adult purchase which is good. They also serve alcohol. Glad I purchased $50 for $25 voucher from Get my Perks or I would have been disappointed that i paid so much for mediocre food. Got the chicken and waffles, 3 small flavorless chicken stips on top of two really flat, hard and cold waffles, probably would have been better had the waffles been hot. I have $50 more bucks to spendand will definitely get a burger since that's what they specialize in. Second review coming soon. Hopefully I'll have a better experience.
This is such a great restaurant. The food is delicious and fresh. I will always come here when I visit Memphis.
