Chester's Chicken - Memphis

I understand why this restaurant has the lowest rating I've ever encountered. The only positive aspect I can mention is that the lights are on. Other than that, it's pretty run down. Definitely avoid this place! Food rating: 1/5.

As a truck driver, I usually expect a warm welcome and a friendly smile when I visit a truck stop or restaurant. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case at this Chester's Chicken location. I was really disappointed by the poor customer service; it made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. The staff seemed to have an attitude of "what do you want? Now leave," which was off-putting. I would definitely not recommend this Chester's Chicken location to anyone.

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering the chicken. It arrived dried out and cold, and they refused to give me a refund. Being short, I couldn't really see the chicken display either. Make sure to check the reviews before you buy! It's a lesson learned. By the way, the box claims it’s always fresh, but there was no apology from the staff—just a consistent refusal to issue any refunds on food.

The security guard there was very hostile. I would recommend avoiding loves truck stop on Llamar altogether. I have been a customer of Chester's chicken for over 5 years at this location and enjoyed it.i drove a semi truck and lived at this location for 3.5 years and never had any problems until this particular hateful individual became involved with Chester's chicken subway and loves truck stop.

Food was terrible and I was nice as can be and the lady behind the counter was rude
