Mcalister's Deli - Memphis

The team chose McAlister's Deli for lunch. I have to mention that there were quite a few of us, and they seemed overwhelmed even before we placed our orders. Mar took our orders, and I, as usual, went with the veggie sandwich – no cucumbers and extra onions, along with some horseradish sauce. This time, I decided to try the potato salad, which I usually don’t enjoy, but surprisingly, I liked both the sandwich and the potato salad. I didn't mind waiting 30 minutes for our food.

This restaurant is a pretty cool place to eat, and everything was really good. Just a heads up, McAlister's can be pricey—if you're on a tight budget, you might want to think twice before ordering. I laughed when I ended up spending $60 on some spuds!

I recently gathered a small group of friends and family at this restaurant, and both the food and service were exceptional. I will definitely be returning. This has become my new favorite spot in the area for sure!

I received just one thin slice of meat on a $12 sandwich (check out the photos)! I will never spend any money here again!

McAlister's has really declined in both service and food quality. I used to enjoy ordering the turkey melt, which was always perfect, but now it's no longer available. I'm not interested in spicy options, and it's just really disappointing. They've even closed the original location in Oxford, MS. It's hard to believe corporate thinks that's acceptable—it's definitely not. McAlister's used to be such a wonderful place.
