Molly's La Casita - Memphis

Used to be really good, now just ok. $15 margaritas had no alcohol in them and pork fajitas were meager and dry. Good flavor overall, but with as much competition as there is in this area, Molly's needs to get it together or they won't be here in a year or 2.

Honestly, my first time visiting was yesterday for dinner. The food was tasteless, my quesadilla had very little chicken, cheese, and veggies inside. It was very dry. For the pricing, I expected better. It was just an ?okay? experience to be honest. The food could be better. My waitress was pleasant?

We had a lovely experience at Molly?s! The food was so delicious and the atmosphere was great. Our server Skye was awesome and so fun to talk to! Great service and kind staff!! We even had a Taco Tuesday discount which was great!

EDIT: After owner reply, I do not recommend this place AT ALL. This place is only open because of the location, cheap margaritas, and the general lack of authentic Mexican food in Memphis. Do the city a favor and change the name to TEX-MEX, because that is exactly what it is and it 's sad that they 're offended for being called out for the truth. Not bad but far from good. I was debating giving it 2 stars because it is quite literally the definition of TexMex food-bland, butthey claim they 're the best mexican food in memphis and it is FAR from it. I wanted something fresh and easy on the stomach so we chose to give it a shot but the food was so tasteless it almost made me sick. There 's two entrances whichis confusing and when we got to the host stand, it took forever for the host to appear but when they did we got sat quickly which was surprising for a Friday evening. A few minutes after getting sat, a large party with kids got sat and thisplace became even more noisy and chaotic. I 've been to bars quieter than this. Food was decently priced but tasted like nothing. The guac was good and probably worth the price but I heard the portion is tiny so I 'd suggest getting it withyour food, if you even bother coming here. Server was really nice and food came out quickly. If your boring friend is visiting and you need to appease to their badly conditioned tastebuds, sure give this place a try but otherwise, stayaway! Try Margaritas or Frida 's down the road(not the best mexican food either but much better than here)

Went for lunch today. My first clue should have been the fact that there was a out 3 other people in total at the restaurant at 12:30. We ordered our food promptly off the lunch menu and after 43 min our tiny lunches arrived. (we were a party of two). The beans were horrible, definitely out of s can and burnt. The lunch fajitas was 4 slinder pieces of very dry chicken and about a quarter cup of onions. I'll definitely never eat there again. Service was good (our waitstaff was very good and pleasant). Food quality and efficiency was poor.
