Great value for money. We had a great time for cheap, the staff is friendly I recommend !
While visiting as a family, we ate very well, the gnocchi and shrimp penne dish very good, the white wine and the spritz too. Very good value for money.
We drove past the rain and dragged our luggage from the ferry to the railway station when we quickly passed the break cafe. there were laughs, goggles clink and the smells of wonderful food that went out from their door. we saw our bus. passing us on the streets and knew that it was an hour and 15 minutes before the next to go to lugano for the night. we went back, drugged our pockets, took off our rain equipment and fled to the bar. from this moment on, this random stop at a random trembling and bar became our favorite moment with the locals on our European slum week. 3 fine men at the end of the bar offered us tapas, starter, antipasto, appetizer whatever their land calls it and immediately the wein began to pour and do not stop it for the next hour. 2 couples came too long ago and the 2 barkeepers, one of them, was the female owner who had moved from the united kingdom. the four different languages had little barrier. we were just people who were eating, drinking, laughing and smiling in the company. we exchanged pictures of children, dogs, spouses and laughing about the before, as they discovered that we were on our slum week. I was never so well maintained or immediately accepted by the local, the owner and traveling. next time we come back, we will skip bellagio, stay in menaggio and return the ease. the prices were incredibly affordable with home wines at 2,50 € per glass, free appetizers and super affordable dinner dishes. I would have listed the prizes as $, not $$$, like others before. the cleanest bath in all italy with a baby changing station and a wonderful back terrace. do not miss this place. we wish we had stayed longer and taken a later train. it was one of the memories that we will appreciate and speak forever.
This small place has a cheap menu with about 10 weeping on the glass. the lunch has 7 different salads or 8 panini or 10 pizzas. each day they have a few primi and a few secondi specialties, of which to choose from, €7 or...9. stop for afternoon beer, wein or aperetivo and enjoy complementary small bites to eat. we had the regular menu dinners and adults by children were all very satisfied!
