Freddy's Kitchen #2 - Merced

The restaurant is very clean, offers a large menu selection, provides great prices, and has excellent service.

The food was served in styrofoam containers, even for dine-in guests, which was quite disappointing. The service was lacking, and the quality of the food was just average. There were no salt or pepper shakers on the table, which was surprising. Overall, I don’t see any reason to return, especially with so many better local Mexican restaurants available.

The owner provided some of the best service I've experienced. He went above and beyond to prepare an excellent takeout order of just chicken for a party of six, all within a short timeframe. I wanted to surprise my wife and her family with a special dinner, and he ensured everything was ready on time. I appreciate that the owner uses homemade ingredients for the meat, which enhances the flavor and keeps me coming back as a regular customer.

50 minute wait time for 1 breakfast burrito and sope. I was hoping the food was worth the wait but it all tasted charred, the sope was from out of a package and the tortilla was hard on the burrito. We witnessed 3 families walk out and one ask for a refund. The server for whatever reason refuses to walk from behind the counter or offer to help customers with large orders carry their food to the table. There is no price on the menu and the juke box has too much bass. We will not return.

Confused them by ordering a veggie wet burrito, but let me tell you it was awesome. Great burrito!
