Our family decided to give this restaurant a second chance, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The food was decent, though not outstanding, but the service was absolutely terrible. The server was aggressive and condescending. When my wife had a question about the menu, the server responded with, "I don't know and I don't care. Just look at the menu; I only take orders from it. I just work here, so if it's not listed, figure it out yourself." We were shocked by her attitude, and in hindsight, we should have just walked out or spoken to the manager. The question my wife had was whether the carne asada came with a grilled jalapeño or if it could be ordered on the side. We definitely won't be returning, and I'll be sure to tell all our friends and neighbors in Mercer Island to avoid this place.
