Le New Merib's - Meribel

Family resort with a remarkable ski area (especially with Mont Vallon and where many activities (patinoire, spa, toboggan trail of nearly 4 km, outdoor swimming pool, restaurants and bars, etc... are available. Shops nearby, dairy cooperative, pharmacy, sports shops, ... everything is done to make sure you don't miss anything! Much more authentic than his neighbor Courchevel, I particularly affectionate Meribel where I have been going for several years.

Very nice station in summer! Possible to do many activities without paying. On the other hand, at the slightest fee thing, you're getting on. You need to know and accept it or change your station! In exchange, you have a clean, well organized village, with a tourist office that does a lot to animate the resort. However, in winter, watch your wallet because you're going to get A-LLU-MER! Shopping, packages, activities... Everything is expensive! Well, you're gonna tell me that it filters the populations: it's about that you won't get the smicards around. Reserved to people who have means! In exchange, you have a ski resort with state-of-the-art equipment, investments at all times, kms and kms of track, snow even when it is hot thanks to the canons and trucks that descend from the snow of the mountains (ah yes, the skis are not welcome either lol). In conclusion, a beautiful station where it makes good living and where many activities are to do ........ But it will be better if you have the pockets well filled!

Super stay in Meribel ..we found a accommodation in the top ... small wooden chalet ...Meribel is just beautiful the landscapes... the architecture.. the Christmas lights..the snow ..unfortunately with the period Covid no bars or restaurants..I imagine that in normal time it must be very alive!!! We rented skis 15 euros a day) and we broke out on the slopes the closed ski lifts cause Covid) so sled and cross-country ski for us.. it was a first and we loved..plen of small shops or we bought local products .. small stay of 4 wonderful days.

Beautiful domain. Radiant station in winter. Very nice hiking or skiing) to discover in the heart of the 3 valleys.
