Crescent City Grill - Meridian

We just happened to find Crescent City Grill when we were on our way back from Alabama. We were going to Chick-Fil-A but it was Sunday so they were closed. Boy were we lucky. We thought we would try it because there were enough cars to look like it was good but not too many to have a long wait. The food was absolutely the best I have tasted in quite a while. It was great. I have told many people about it since then and plan to come again. We have already picked out place to eat on the way back from a football game road trip. AAAAAA place to eat.

Been here many times, always great food and service. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Had a bad server for the evening. My daughter had a small birthday get together. I brought in a cake for after the meal as a surprise, upon mentioning it to the server in the hallway, she said oh s--t, Jesus, why me, then after my apology, (why I don't know), I located the hostess coming out of the bathroom, she said she would be happy to handle delivering the cake to the table later in the evening. That part was wonderful. Everyone at our table seemed confused over the server, who always delivered the wrong food or wrong wine glass to the wrong person.

I have been a long-time fan of CCG in Hattiesburg, so I was excited to discover a location in Meridian. On my first visit there, we experienced some service issues. However, true to form, the management went above and beyond to address the situation. As I'm planning to host a large conference in the area, we chose CCG for our private meetings. Their food, service, atmosphere, and eagerness to accommodate us are unmatched in Meridian. They truly are the best!

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant, and I'm unsure why it happened. My group was the only black patrons there, and our waitress treated us very rudely. She overlooked us, got our drink orders wrong, and her behavior was completely uncalled for. Despite my attempts to be polite, she only became more disrespectful. I had dined here before, but after this experience, I will never return. I even tried to address my concerns with a manager, but my attempts went ignored. While I won't name the waitress and bartender, both were unkind and hurtful, and I won’t be coming back. I felt so embarrassed and upset that I cried in my car afterward. Please address the attitude of your staff.
