Just really bad pizza. It was super dry no sauce and really greasy. I feel like I wasted my money here. They charge $2.50 per topping on a build your own pizza… like?
When Marco’s was first opened, I loved it. It broke my heart when they closed, so you can imagine how excited I was to see it reopen. At first, the new ownership was doing a great job. Employees were friendly, food was cooked well, etc. I think this location changed ownership somewhat recently and it has gone steadily downhill. Orders take about two to three times longer to make, even during non-peak times. They regularly forget to add my dipping sauce cup in the box. I add the garlic sauce and Parmesan crust topper, and I’ve had garlic sauce swirled over the entire top of the pizza (NOT on the crust edge) several times now. My pizza has been burnt on several occasions, so I’ve started ordering it as a light cook. Even still, my last pizza looked fine on top but was badly burnt underneath (see pic) and it took 10+ minutes longer than the quoted time online. When I called back in, the person helping was nice but never actually apologized. I hope they can figure it out and improve soon.
We always ordered delivery. The salads are fresh and crisp, and the pizza and breadsticks are our favorites of all the choices in Meridian.However, there was only about a 30% chance of getting our correct order and getting all the items we order delivered to us with all our orders over the last six months. I'll miss Marco's food, but it's frustrating to have this happen so often.
The Manager or boss i’m not sure but her name was Nichole is absolutely amazing, I had wanted to try it for the first time and the service was absolutely amazing, she was so kind and helpful and just made it an enjoyable experience. The food for out fast and was absolutely delicious! Definitely will be returning!
