Tavern At Eagle Island - Meridian

Had 4 adults and a baby. Was never offered a high chair and was sat at a high top booth even though regular tables were available. This made it extremely hard to enjoy my meal and overall experience. Our waiter was extremely nice and attentive. However our tavern Boursin chicken lacked flavor and was dry even though it had a gravy on it that tastes like water flour paste. It was taken care of by our waiter. But overall a mediocre experience for the price.

Great charming little restaurant. Everything was great from the cocktails (I recommend the Lynchburg Lemonade), to the appetizer (shrimp cocktail made with best prawns I've had since being on the coast), and the great taste and value of the three course meal (Surf and Turf was so good with an amazing size of steak for the price). Service was amazing and now we will consider this one of our favorite restaurants in the area. We will definitely be back.

I am visiting my brothers in Eagle and we decided to go to dinner here. My brother said their burgers were quite good so we decided to give it a try. The burgers are great and I had the salmon which was also great. Highly recommend.

I was in the north part of Meridian and my wife and I found this place it is a great place for lunch a nice quiet place with alot of people having lunch the food is pretty good with large selection of drinks and sandwiches....this place get quite busy for lunch easy location with lots of parking at Chinden and Linder there is lots of shopping in the area with grocery stores, alot of food , beauty salons, Costco and Walmart are close by......if this helps please give it a like....?.............

The poke salad was way smaller then I was expecting, a lot more vertical food style then I'm used too.It works out for the best because I'm a big boy who should be eating smaller salads. But more fluff would have been nice.My wife's Salmon burger was awesome and the whole staff was incredibleNot the best deal in town, but a great spot to come and catch up with friends and hang out.
