Roasted Black Garlic Oil and Extra Cha-Shu added to the original tonkotsu. Tonkotsu Yokohama. Traditional Yokohama style ramen, extra chi-yi (chicken oil) and garlic
Smiley service and cosy interior. I enjoyed the rock music soundtrack. There’s the option for a few Japanese beers and plum wines. There’s a number of options to make the ramen suit you. The vegetarian option is only dry noodle.
We have often waxed lyrical about the excellent ramen at Muso Ramen, but somehow have not updated the blog entry on it since a visit years ago, not long after it opened. Given that we often refer to it, holding it as a benchmark standard for ramen deliciousness, and that it has had a renovation and expansion since then, a new post has been long overdue.
Ramen had always been good but inconsistent. Some days you get heaps of soup in the bowl, some days you get a small amount. Definitely a place to go for ramen on the GC.
I enjoyed Muso Ramen so much. Loved my Tonkotsu Spicy Miso, I should have gone with level 3. Hubby’s Tonkontsu Original was alright. Friends had Tonkotsu Black Soy, Braised Pork Rice Bowl and Chicken Karaage. Broth was strong but not too thick (which I dont like). I’d definitely go back again next time we visit GC.
