Anita's Cuisine - Merriam

This is an amazing discovery! It's very convenient to reach from I-35 and Johnson Drive. The food is outstanding! It's a family-owned restaurant, and the owners are wonderful! We're absolutely addicted to the tamales! My personal favorite is the chicken tacos! We've been coming here for years!

This family-owned restaurant offers a warm, friendly atmosphere and delicious food. Every dish tastes like it’s made at home with love. The staff clearly enjoys their work, and that passion shows in the quality of the meals. I highly recommend the breakfast burritos and pupusas. The hot salsa is genuinely spicy, which is a refreshing change from the milder sauces served at many other places.

The food is excellent, the restaurant is family-owned, and the service is outstanding. You absolutely have to try the tamales, tacos, burritos, and more!

Finally stopped for breakfast at Anita?s on Saturday morning and it was delicious. We tried the chilaquiles which were so wonderfully prepared for my takeout order. Everything was nicely organized and the chips thick enough that they didn?t get soggy after taking it to go. Also tried the tamales platter which were wonderful. I loved the salsa and ended up eating it like soup because I didn?t have any chips to eat with it.

The best salvadoreñan food delicious pupusas and delicious tamales. Anita the owner is such a sweet lady definitely be back.
