Nana B's Bakery - MERRICKVILLE

The butter tarts at this restaurant are incredible. You must make a stop here! I will definitely be returning for more. When we arrived, they were all sold out, but even at 3:00 pm they were making fresh batches. We picked up butter pecan and raisin tarts, and also tried their unique bacon on a stick coated in tart sauce. Every calorie was worth it!

The peanut butter cookies were average, not the best I've had. However, the butter tarts were excellent and lived up to all the hype.

We stopped by in the middle of the afternoon and regretted not coming earlier to try their doughnuts. When we arrived, they had a limited selection left, so we ended up buying a loaf of bread to have with dinner. The woman working there was incredibly kind and welcoming, giving off a small town vibe. We even had a lovely conversation about family recipes that have been passed down through generations.

It was a cold day at the local auction but found this great bakery steps away from the community center. Great service, great butter tarts and a great cup of coffee.
