I stopped by Pappy Gandor Co with my daughter’s family because we wanted to try a local spot, and we certainly weren't disappointed! Although I didn't catch our server's name, she was fantastic! Extremely friendly, helpful, and quick, she managed our group of five effortlessly—and she was also the cook! We ordered burgers and BLTs with fries, and everything was delicious. And those fries—wow! I usually don't finish my fries, but at Pappy Gandor’s, I found myself wanting more. As we were leaving, my 9-year-old grandson proudly declared that his burger was the best he’d ever had!

We love small, local cafes and Pappy Gander was perfect! Good food, great prices, spectacular service. A plus was plenty of parking for our truck and trailer!

My husband and I live in Washington State, and we frequently drive to Susanville, California. This is the only restaurant we visit along the way. The food quality, wait staff, and atmosphere are all excellent. The place is always very clean and tidy. We truly appreciate this spot! And the homemade fries are simply the best.
