Applebee's - Merrillville

I visited Applebee's on March 8, 2022. It was my first time getting to go out to eat since October 2021 because I had health issues. I choose Applebee's because I knew I could depend on great service and great food and they didn't disappoint me. I sat at the bar and was telling all the patrons how excited I was to be here and the bartender poured an extra shot into my drink. And that's the other reason I picked Applebee's...their Bahama Mama's! I am not a big drinker, im very picky, but I love ONLY Applebee's Bahama Mama's! Thank you Applebee's for giving me the best experience of finally going out to eat!!

Greg was superb tonight, didn't let the fact of them being short staffed distract him. He handled it like a pro!

Sticky tables, dirty restrooms, rude seater. My waitress was ok, but everything else 1/10. Never get our money again.

Ordered the all you can eat shrimp rib boneless I only got one of each and I was full I did not Gorge myself. Because I got barbecue sauce they charged me extra siting inventory reasons, but had I got a refill and ordered the sauce on the Boneless tenders I would not have been charged. So I saved them money by not ringing out an additional order for boneless tenders. I told that to the waitress so because I got the sauce on the side and didn't order another set of boneless tenders you're going to charge me for the sauce and she said yes for inventory reasons. Sorry but for the attitude problem I won't be back and I definitely made sure she knew that her tip sucked. It was just the principle of charging me for the plastic cup in the sauce but I did not order the additional tenders to save them money and because of the promotion I would have got those tenders included with the barbecue sauce as part of my meal deal.

Waitress was rude to take our order and impatient ask for ask for I.D rude rushing us for our order and then gave us our drinks first ask for I.D again rude after we just shown them I don’t know what was the problem so we left without getting a chance to enjoy ourselves
