House Of Kobe - Merrillville

This House of Kobe is great. I’ve been coming to this restaurant for 10+ years and it’s always great service and the food is just as great. Even through covid they have managed to keep the experience the same as before.

The waitress was very attentive and kept our drinks filled. We had a party of 13, including a toddler. The chef put on a great show cooking our food. Very entertaining. Everything was delicious and so plentiful we all needed take home containers. Definitely worth the price.

Recent reviews had me nervous to return although we’ve never had a bad experience.. But I was glad we went. The portions were still huge, much more than one could eat! Our server and our chef were both amazing as well. My kids 7,6,4&2 love the food and watching it be cooked as well!

The food was amazing and they give you nice sized portions. I ordered calamari for the appetizer and the ribeye and shrimp combination entree and ordered kids meals for my children who also had steak. I was full by the time my fried rice was cooked. The staff was pleasant and also entertaining. My new favorite place

We really enjoyed our recent experience at House of Kobe. The food is always delicious, the restaurant is clean, the servers and chefs are polite, accommodating, and enthusiastic. My kids love celebrating birthdays here! We've only ever done Hibachi, but the steak and chicken is our favorite.
