Sheffield's - Merrillville

The restaurant has a pleasant layout with a spacious dining area and four pool tables (two located in the back) for some relaxation. You'll find a good mix of locals alongside some visitors from out of town. Although I'm not much of a drinker, I found the appetizer I ordered to be quite reasonably priced.

While it might not be anything extraordinary, this place is your typical bar. They serve good bar food, and the drinks are cold and reasonably priced. The bartender was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning to enjoy a few more drinks and sample more of the menu.

**Location:** This restaurant offers ample parking and features a pool area, darts, and games for entertainment. The spacious outdoor seating is a great addition, but please note that there's a minimum age requirement of 25 during evening hours. **Food:** We enjoyed the burgers and Cajun fries, which were quite tasty. However, we were disappointed with the tacos; they didn’t meet our expectations. **Service:** Danielle was friendly and professional, making our experience more enjoyable. On the other hand, Tammy was unwelcoming and somewhat forgetful, which detracted from our visit. **Miscellaneous:** It’s worth mentioning that Uncle Nearest Smokey (the cigar area) is separate from the kitchen, which could be a plus for some guests. Overall, while the ambiance and some food options were pleasant, there are areas for improvement in both the menu and service.

So I’m going to start by saying, I like a little grit to my bar. This atmosphere is exactly what I look for with the great music, pool tables and hometown feel. As we walked in we noticed there was quite a few people and only one bartender to serve the place. She. Was. Fantastic. I mean unbelievable. Personable, timely and professional. The food.. I pride myself in being a wing connoisseur and I will say the chicken wings were top tier. Large, slightly breaded and a tasteful amount of sauce while piping hot. All said and done it’s a 5/5 for me. Highly recommend.

Pretty good. We ordered take out and the bags came w/o any utensils, napkins, syrup, anything. Just the food. Disappointed in the service so 4 stars
