The staff consists of just the man and woman owners who seem to be trying to do everything themselves, but unfortunately they are not succeeding. Overall, the experience was sad, strange, and pathetic. I would not recommend this place.
If there is one thing that stood out at this restaurant, it was the dirtiness of the seats. They were absolutely filthy, as if people had been stepping on them with their shoes. Just take a look at this picture - it's pretty bad. I had to put some paper down before sitting. They really need to clean up their act! The egg benedict I ordered was a disappointment, to say the least. There should be a warning about the Hollandaise sauce - it was watery and tasted more like lemon than anything else. And don't even get me started on the ham - it looked old and definitely didn't belong on a benedict. The service was odd as well, with the owners taking orders, handling cash, and serving as the cooks all at once. They didn't even come to our table to take our order, instead shouting from across the bar. Overall, this place is a real stinker and should be avoided at all costs.
This charming cafe on Merritt Island is a hidden gem! They serve breakfast (with a well-varied menu) and lunch (which is absolutely delicious). The menu offers something for everyone, with daily specials and homemade dishes. The blackened grouper sandwich was particularly tasty and authentically spiced, unlike other places outside the Keys. There are so many tempting options on the menu that we can't wait to return the next time we're on Merritt Island!
Nizza can be found in merritt island in the Michael's/Aldies shopping center from 520. they are 12-2 open except Tuesdays. they offer another take on typical diner food, but they can still get that. I really enjoyed her soft bowl crab benedict. beautiful and different white Hollandaise sauce. my son had her homemade bread French toast. it was more like cake in texture and taste, so no need for syrup. my wife had a bly on marble. the main complaint was not enough speck, but otherwise tasty. they also offer grouper snadwiches and eier benedict with grouper. a very nice place that can take a moment until they do not move to the shopping center. will be back for more.
Islanders: Come visit Flying Fish cafe. They serve up the best Eggs over easy with Tobiko and Hollandaise. Absolutely simple and delicious. The tobiko creates a delicious, bright pop of salinity that will make you happy to wake up in Florida! Her French toast is made with homemade bread and drenched in custard. No syrup needed! And the home fries are spectacular! AND it’s super cute and coastal of course!
