Freddies Red Wagon Bbq - Merritt Island

This is the best hidden gem in Brevard. Some real deal southern Bbq. Everything is made scratch, sauces, sides, everything. I recommend the ribs and brisket. But don't sleep on the pork or chicken either. The sides are amazing. I usually get collards and okra, but everything is so tasty, you can tell it's made with love, sweet smokey love.Picture is of pulled brisket, cornbread, collard greens, fried okra, and hot sauce.

I've had both the Ribs and Brisket. Excellent! Try the mustard sauce! The Brisket was the best I've had in a long time. Melts in your mouth. And, fried Okra, all time favorite. If, you're on M.I. stop in and give it a try.Food: 5/5

I've eaten bbq all over the country and this is in the top 10% for sure. A must-try. The meat is tender, the bark runs deep, the sauces are on point, the portions are generous. A gem worth a quick bite or a full on day trip to enjoy!To set expectations therefore no tables. This is a takeaway joint through and through. 5 stars, for sure

10/10!!! I had stopped to get gas on my way back to Orlando, and the smell of bbq got me! Being a Bama girl I have to check out all the spots. 20 years living in Florida, this is some of the best bbq we have tasted. The kids loved all the sides, especially the beans and Mac n cheese. Brisket was on point! I can’t wait to work in Merritt Island again so I can stop back by and get more!
