The King Brychan - Merthyr Tydfil

Cracking carvery. I don't normally have a roast dinner when out as veg can be horrible and meat can be dry. But fair play they smashed it. Staff were a good laugh too

Amazing experience here today. We came for food with an autistic non verbal service user and required a few adjustments a quiet table, all items removed from the table, 2 plastic cups for the drinks, as well as having to pay for each meal separately. Richard the server today has made the experience so easy and enjoyable. Very polite and accommodating to all.

In my reviews I do try to be as honest as possible. The staff were friendly and the place was nice enough but their steak was underwhelming and disappointing. The peas didn't have any butter or anything and the salad didn't come with dressing and I found it rather bland. However, the fish and chips was excellent nice soft succulent fish and crunchy batter. Overall a nice enough place for a pint and some grub but I wouldn't go back, or if I do end up back there would order the fish and not a steak.

Hosted by the wonderful Louise, she helped with our orders and drinks. She also helped encourage child in our party to eat. Absolutely lovely service and incredible hospitality. 5/5. Food arrived quickly and tasted wonderful. Also were helped by Charlie during our visit who was also incredibly helpful and lovely.

First time here ,pleasant staff,I enjoyed my meal of hunters chicken,chips but my friend did not enjoy the cowboy burger as it was dry and burnt,he was happy with his fries.
