Bbq House Korean Bbq - Mesa

I discovered this restaurant based on reviews and was craving Korean food. The restaurant is spacious and can accommodate many customers. When I visited on a weekday, it was mostly empty. The food was tasty, but the beef short rib was a bit salty. It seemed like they were short-staffed, as there was only one server who was very friendly. Unfortunately, I had to wait for additional items and at a BBQ restaurant where you cook your own food, waiting can be frustrating. Despite this, I still recommend checking out this restaurant as there aren't many places where you can enjoy Korean cuisine.

My family had a great time at this restaurant! The food was amazing and we were impressed by the chefs. This was our first visit, but definitely won't be our last. A must-try!

Cleanliness There are no paper menus, you take a photo of a menu, wait to get seated, order your meat, drinks, side dishes selection from the server and get your own salad. Of this is your first time at a Korean BBQ budget at least and hour to hour and half from getting seated, to ordering, to cooking your own food, to paying the bill. Yes, I said COOKING your own food. Be prepared to grill your food. You will smell like BBQ. Overall the experience was ok but our server made up for the challenges the restaurant had. Our server really provided top knot h 5 star ?? ???????? service. I believe his name was Jake. Worth trying but I personally wouldn?t come back.

There are a lot of factors on why I am giving a 3 star and this is why. Overall the food was actually all very good for what we got. They are definitely under staffed and I only saw one waitress on the half of the restaurant that we were on. We all had a huge group of people, 24 in total. It was an entire 45 minutes until we had service and our orders taken for all of us. It wasn?t for an hour or so until we had drinks. They had a salad bar and veggie bar which was pretty lackluster with only mushrooms and onions to pick from. I was thinking there would be broccoli or carrots or maybe even squash to put on the grill. Our waitress was really nice, but definitely overwhelmed by our large group and then the rest of the restaurant on top of us. The bathroom was not clean at all. It was dusty and paper towels all on the floor that were later on picked up by the waitress. I really enjoyed the experience of cooking my own food at the table. As an overall experience though, I probably won?t go back to this location. However, I do understand that being understaffed may have caused all of these factors to be a thing.

This restaurant is perfect for a fun date night where you can enjoy cooking together and have a few laughs. The menu offers all-you-can-eat options so you can be adventurous and try new dishes. Our server was very helpful with recommendations and made sure we had plenty to eat. Keep in mind that it is a buffet, so don't be surprised by the price, but you will definitely get your money's worth. It's a great place to go with friends and have a good time.
