Chicagoland Hotdogs - Mesa

We enjoyed lunch there I love the restaurant because it is from Chicago love eating there. Thank you very much serving us great food thanks again?

I'm sad to write this review. My family and I have been dining here for 15+ years.The last time we went in a few months ago they were severely understaffed and the quality of the food was horrible.We tried again a few weeks ago and they were closed with a note on the window. I probably should have written this place off then.Today I went in with my kids to get a few chili dogs and hot beef sandwiches. What a mistake this was. Their is only 1 teenager working and it is 80 to 90 degrees in the restaurant. The ac was not on and it is 114 outside today. This is NOT safe for the girl working by any means.We ordered our food to go since we did not want to keep sweating while eating (it was HOT inside). After we got home our hot dog buns tasted stale and hard. The beefs were tasteless and just as bad.No one ended up eating and we tossed the food in thr trash. What a huge waste of money. Their prices are also much higher than they used to be as well.I think the owner has given up on this place and should just close it down. It is dirty inside, hot and severely understaffed. I have no idea how they are still in business and if it were mine I would be extremely embarrassed by what it has become.We loved this place and my old review was 5 stars from over 14 years ago. Since covid it has declined but I feel it has hit Rock bottom.Save your money and eat elsewhere.

This place has good food but desperately needs to update their hours. We stopped by on Sunday only to find a sign that said they’re closed on Sundays until further notice. We then decided to come by tonight at 6pm and found another sign that said they decided to close early at 5pm. I’m not sure I’ll chance coming back considering you never know when they’ll be open :

Pretty good hotdogs here. The staff is friendly but always short handed. You need to have a little time on your hands if you plan to eat here.

McDonald's makes a better burger, the hotdogs and burger were cold and the delivery driver had them packed in an insulated bag, so that leads me to believe it left the restaurant cold. Very disappointed.
