IHOP - Mesa

It's been about 3 years since I've been to this location but Joe, who used to be our overnight server back then and who is now on days, recognized us and went above and beyond today! Such a personable individual who always makes our visits 5 stars!

I took my family of 8 to this restaurant and was told there would be a 45-minute wait. After waiting for 55 minutes, we inquired about the delay and noticed that there were a few open spots where they could have put two tables together for us. Instead, they gave those spots to other customers who arrived later. There was also a large, empty and dirty area where they could have seated larger families, but it took them some time to clean it before seating us. After an hour of waiting, we were finally seated. Once we received the correct orders, the meal was excellent.

We were seated in a booth tonight at our local IHOP, where we are regulars. We have always enjoyed dining here, but I believe it is time for the booths to receive a thorough deep cleaning.

The restaurant building is very dirty and outdated, and we had to wait longer than usual for our online order. Despite telling the staff we were there for online pick up, we were asked twice if we were waiting to be seated. When our food finally arrived, the person serving us seemed unaware that we were waiting. Additionally, my BLT sandwich had wilted lettuce and hardly any bacon. I would not recommend dining at this location because of the rude staff, dirty building, and subpar food quality. It appears they lack communication and organization among the staff.

Worst breakfast ever. Better off just using box pancake mix real eggs and the cheapest bacon you can find at the store.. would still be miles ahead of this trash and it wouldn't take and hour and a half...
