We had a great time, and if we find ourselves in Las Cruces again, I would definitely come back to buy more pottery. Everyone in the stores was incredibly nice and friendly. Even my 12-year-old had a blast exploring the shops and indulging in chocolate and ice cream! The historical site is fascinating to learn about too.
A must-visit destination for history, shopping, dining, and entertainment.
I really enjoy the unique shops that offer high-quality products. The weekend market takes place on Fridays and Sundays, while it seems that most people head to Las Cruces for the farmers market on Saturdays. There's a nostalgic charm to this place that I love. I appreciate the selection of clothing, jewelry, stones, and various spiritual items. The Mexican food and Amish candy stores are delightful, and the ice cream shop is a treat, offering a variety of candies as well. It's a wonderful spot to wander and unwind. The surrounding city adds to the experience with its quaint and intriguing atmosphere, showcasing a rich southwestern history filled with antique character.
Step back in time. Mesilla Plaza is a peaceful place, where you can stand in the gazebo and listen to the church bells or the choir singing for mass. You can stroll around and enjoy lovely homes or just take in a sunset on the benches around. The sweet shops that surround it have all sorts of New Mexican treasures, and the dining is divine. On Sundays you may enjoy the artisan market. And, for Dia de los Muertos, the festival with its ofrendas is the best around.
Pleasant place you can find nice souvenirs and delicious food
