Hotel zum Engel - Mespelbrunn

The hotel is very nicely located. in a few minutes you can reach the castle and the forests. the reception and also any other contact with the innkeepers and employees was very friendly and sympathetic. we would like to highlight the excellent dinner on the beautiful terrace. the breakfast has not left any wish open. only our room in the 2nd floor had already come into the years. in the 1st floor the rooms are already renovated, the 2nd floor is still in touch after the wetin has said. the price-performance ratio was very fair after our opinion, both in terms of accommodation and food. we like to come back (and then ask for a renovated room). P.S. dogs are only possible on request and actually only up to date. we had our two king's poodles, who were even allowed to go to the restaurant - thank you very much!

A restaurant overlooking the castle Mespelbrunn. it was connected to the hotel. the famous fish dishes are very abundant. fishmeuniere is seasoned with crimp butter. it was a perfect cooking method for beer where you can enjoy the light night fish. it had a textur like twill cake and quiche, which are silly dishes.

Good cue with large portions. extended half board. I missed a broth-time ticket for hotelgaeste.

The hotel is not big, but very nice. the rooms are beautiful and well furnished. However, there are rooms that have been renovated and some of them are somewhat older.The new rooms have even floor heating in the bathroom.However, clean are all rooms.I was already three times on business there and every time it was a bang. breakfast buffet very rich. there are almost everything in the best quality. Lunch and dinner are very tasty.The hotel is used by many locals as a restaurant. as hotel is located on a street, but all rooms are directed to the other side. you look at a mountain with forests (see pictures). rest and recover. a rewe supermarket is just around the corner and there are several restaurants and shopping nearby.There is also a bar in the place where you can go to the evening.Essen is perfect as it is in bayern. breakfast buffet with everything you wish. lunch and dinner so good that the locals also come to eat. that speaks for itself. the hotel also has its own conditories with excellent tortes and cakes. clean and neatly managed house in a family atmosphere.I like to come back every time. the mespelbrunn Palace is reachable in 10 minutes. there are also beautiful souvenir shops and nice restaurants. here you can spend a nice day as well as dinner nice.Mespelbrunn or the spessart is beautiful in summer, but in winter the landscap is even more beautiful.

This review only refers to the restaurant! our family comes from the direct environment of mespelbrunn and we regularly go to lunch on Sundays. the house with the adjacent adjoining rooms offers space for abundant guests. the interior is rural but very appealing. the foods range from shnitzel over steaks, various frying, medaillons etc. everything extremely delicious! the salatbuffet is really the hammer! actually quite inconspicuous, but everything is self-made. in the attached cafe area there is a huge selection of very tasty homemade cakes. they come here - they will not regret it.
