Cucina Italiana - Mesquite

Cute little Italian restaurant, ate here twice last week. Enjoyed everything we ordered. Great menu and the cooks knows what they're doing !!!!

The add shows a lunch price of $8.99. After seating, you learn this is for soup/saland only! Balance of menu for pasta is $12. Some lunch at a pasta restaurant!

Worst meal we had in a long time. I ordered the spaghetti and meat ball. The meatball was the size of a bocce ball with the same texture. I dont know what meat it was made of but it was not good. Had to use a knife to cut it and after one bite, I was done with it and just ate part of the pasta. My girlfriend ordered the beef ravioli. Same thing, I dont know what the paste filling was, but again, not good. Now the worst part. That night I was ready to take my girlfriend to the hospital. This is not a exaggeration or a lie. Fortunately she got filling better a few hours later. I was not that lucky. It took me three days to get over my situation that I wont go into details about. Again, not a exaggeration or lie. One more thing, if its true your soup is home made, please switch to can. Server was nice and attentive.

I was on the fence about trying Cucina Italiana due to the mixed reviews, but I happy we decided to eat here. The service was great, and we ordered the bruschetta, chicken parmesan and spaghetti with meatball, all of which was fantastic. There are many other items on the menu that we are looking forward to trying as we will certainly be back.
