Fuel City Mesquite

The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly and attentive. The only downside was the limited time for truck parking. We were hoping for an overnight spot for my father-in-law to park his truck, but unfortunately, the city of Mesquite only allows truck stops for a maximum of 6 hours. Too bad for them. However, Fuel City was great. I give it five stars.

The surroundings of the tankstelle were beautiful, but the once legendary tankstadt taco was no longer living up to its reputation. After multiple disappointing experiences in the past, I was hungry and decided to quickly stop for breakfast. However, the simple breakfast tacos ended up making me feel sick as if I had a stomach virus. As I made my way back through the bathroom, I noticed that other truck drivers were also experiencing similar issues.

The parking lot is small, so it's best to arrive early to secure a spot. However, the restaurant offers a wide variety of drinks, with three options available.

Not much parking space, but before they turn on to fuel isle just hold about 1/4 mile on the left side another truck stop with approx. 20 more spots...but fuel city has good food and best fountain drink machine of koks with 100 choices. I like it because there is zero sugar as well as hot food choices better than normal truck stops?????

Stopped by this morning 4/26/22 for breakfast. I had the chorizo breakfast burrito loaded and it was delicious. Food came out fresh and quick. Salsa paired well with it.
