We will not go here again. They hid a gratuity in the bill. The tip if any should be my choice and given according to service. Also very loud there. But I never return to a restaurant that charges mandatory gratuity.
This is Mesquite’s best restaurant. I live in Mesquite and eat here as often as possible. Always love it! People are great and a beautiful restaurant with a coy pond and bridge inside the restaurant.
One of the worst restaurants I have ever had sushi at. It 's hard to even call it sushi... it was mushy, wet rice with pieces of fish drizzled in some kind of sauce. No shape, no taste, 1 out of 10. I 'm not sure if the so-called sushi master has ever seen real sushi. It 's ridiculous that this place even calls itself a Japanese restaurant. The only Japanese thing there was the beer. 5 pseudo sushi rolls and a beer for $100... the worst $100 I 've ever spent. The service was also a 1 out of 10. The server seemed upset the whole time and behaved as if working there was a punishment. If I could rate lower than one star, it would receive the lowest possible score. Don 't waste your money and time on this place.
Samurai 21 is one of our favorite places to eat in Mesquite. Actually probably one of our favorite hibachi sushi steakhouses anywhere! The sushi is always super fresh. The service is excellent! They have a lot of variety and options even if you're not a seafood eater. The place is always very clean well decorated and they definitely have a regular crowd that comes in, which keeps them pretty busy. We've been going since they first open. We have never, ever had a complaint about food or service. They're just exceptional at what they do! Kid-friendliness: We see people with kids there all the time. There are great things on the menu for them. They also have highchairs. The kids seem to love the hibachi as well. Wheelchair accessibility: There is close handicap parking and a ramp that leads up to the front door. It is also wide enough around the indoor koi pond to get through on either side to get into the hibachi area or dining room.
