Waffle House - Mesquite

Today was a snowy day and everything was closed, so glad they were open.... Staff was friendly and food was great and came out quickly will definitely be back....

It was better than the waffle house we tried to stop at some exits before. Even if the shield said 24 hours and we staff in the doors were locked. They had what a walk up and order saw windows, but enough about them. These restaurant doors were unlocked. No customers and when we went to 2 tables were dirty. The waiter (with earphones) asked for our drink order. We told him our drinks and he asked if we were ready to order, said no. He stands there for a few seconds more and asked if we are ready to order, said no. Then he brings our drinks and asks again, said no minute. He's just standing there... I order the same every time, so I knew what I wanted. Girls don't... He's at our table in an empty restaurant until she found out. The food was decent, but the rest of our experience was best moderate.

I went on Christmas, it was very busy, and they were clearly underoccupied and overworked. I can't really blame them for my experience because every single person at the spot looked half dead (probably) working 12 hours at a CRAZY pace. People were lined at the door without sitting while waiting to sit. All this aside when I finally helped, the young man who served me was very polite and inclined to me as if I were the only person in the restaurant. The young women were all very sniffed, confrontative, unorganized and inattentive. They skipped customers, refused to sit people in the order in which they came, not sitting people at all and trying to do other people jobs. One of them just stopped and moved another worker out of the way and began to run the cash register. She was instructed 8 times to take orders, and she made Ghetto hand signals and ignored the actual cash register. It was a pretty bad experience, but the young man who served me, and the food, saved the day.

Cousin chased breakfast with waffles. Poem inside. She got the big breakfast was very good, she said.. I ordered the steak and I got eggs. Everything was perfectly cooked?...the Waitress was fast and very friendly?. Total experience was great for the money?...Good: 4/5

It is actually my 2nd time ever eating at any Waffle House since I was told about them, and it's good! ?The price, food n service. Food: 4/5
