I had come for Christmas to Kalamata and specifically to Messina. After I had taken my morning walk in the square I decided to drink my wine somewhere. First of all, it doesn't fill your eyes like a first impression, but there is something good hidden there. Friendly owner and staff seems to be a family tavern. Wine very good appetizers awesome especially meatballs incredible. Delicious country salad, but what drives you crazy is the terrible oil they put on it. Bread delicious. I would say very good prices for these days. A salad an appetizer a portion of meatballs half white a coca cola and bread he brought us twice we paid 19€. Nothing compared to what we enjoyed.
