I accidentally picked up a cake for Easter. I chose a carrot cake because it is always a family lover. It was great; everyone loved how good it was all day. Delicious. I'm glad I stopped while I was in the area!

We bought a king cake a week ago while we were in Metairie. It was amazing! But there was no tiny baby in the cake! We missed the fun to find him.

Recommendation from another Yelper and she was 100% correct. The fried beignets were amazingly sweet roasted dough. Absolutely delicious. Next time I come to visit, I will try their plentiful king cakes they sell year around. This is definitely off the path in Metairie.

We ordered a king cake, unfortunately their proofer was broken and had to cancel the order. We ended up going back the following day, their proofer was being repaired...little over 3 hours and we finally got our king cake. It looked and smelled absolutely yummy. As anticipated, it was fresh and delicious. We especially liked the cake because it was not covered in colored sugar, just icing a a few colorful sprinkles. The only complaint there was no baby. Part of eating a king cake or the excitement of seeing who finds the baby. Sadly, it must have been forgotten All in all, it was worth the wait! It's a great once a year treat for Mardi Gras or for anytime of the year.
