Applebee's - Metairie

Today is my daughter's 21st bday, so we planned on going for brunch at another restaurant. That restaurant was packed and had a 3 hour wait, so we left. We stopped at a couple other places, but like the first, they were all on long waits. Frustrated my daughter said let's just go to Applebee's. Honestly, I'm really glad we did. Megan our server, was phenomenal! So sweet to us. She went above and beyond! She made the birthday girl's day! Mine too! As for the restaurant, it was very clean. The only thing I would recommend is keeping some air freshener and some holy water in the bathroom. Someone had recently unloaded a death bomb or they have a very smelly plumbing issue which made entering the bathroom for more than 3 seconds unbearable. On the bright side they accommodated our group immediately and were fast yet never rushed us. The food was really good. Thank you again Megan! Ask for her if you stop by for lunch. She's there till 4. Remember though, I recommend bringing a can of air freshener or nose plugs...just in case.

This Applebee's has a very enchanting energy about the restaurant. The staff are so helpful and very attentive to your desires. I had the Bourbon street shrimp and chicken breast covered in sauteed onions, mushrooms with mashed potatoes . It's was very delicious and I will most assuredly return to try another meal on their quite vast and tasty menu

I ordered the 4 cheese Mac and cheese and as I ordered, I asked for extra honey pepper sauce. It came out with Alfredo sauce, not a drop of honey pepper.The waitress went back to the kitchen 4 times to get sauce!Also the dish they brought my food in was nasty around the edge so I sent it back.We also had ordered a ribeye. They only had plastic utensils. We had to ask for a steak knife too.Then we had to wait over a half hour for our to go order!!!I don’t even give this a one star because it doesn’t even deserve that much!Then I get a bill for $88.00 and they charged me for 4 dinners instead of 3!!!!Unbelievable!!!This is the last time we will ever go to this Applebees location!!!! ???

What I ordered and what I was served. I asked waitress what happened and her reply, I have no control over the kitchen. This is really gross.

Sat down in the booth and the waitress asked about Appetizers. I said no thanks, but I will order a nice drink while I wait. After a while waiting, she came back with WATER!!TAP WATER at that!! REALLY TAP WATERThe bartender didn't fix my drink until about 30mins after ordering. I stopped going to Applebee's a long time ago for what reason, I can't remember. Different location than the WATER issue. I decided to try again but Apparently...Applebee's is just not for me. Especially the METAIRIE location with the TAP WATER which I didn't even ask for
