City Diner - Metairie

Good food! We're trying to eat here whenever we're in the area. You have HUGE, like pizza size pancakes! The pancakes are delicious! You can even eat them with syrup, it reminds me of an angel food cake. Two of us had Omeletts, we all enjoyed our meal!

Big American diner! Portion sizes are large and the pancakes are huge. You may have to wait a while for a place when you come to peak times or you have a big party (i.e. more than 4 people) is just so popular. The New Orleans inspired dishes are worth trying.

Shows the best divers in town. Friendly service and the most amazing pancakes! They're not huge! Eggs, bacon and ash-brown are on the spot. The picture shows the pancakes on a 14 inch pizza dish.

The staff was very efficient, friendly and the food was delicious. We ordered the huge pancake. Never seen a pancake so big! The cook did a great job, it was cooked all the way through and the dough was so good. Will definitely return recommend this place.

I've been a fan of City Diner's pancakes for years now, but this was my most recent experience. We went there to eat breakfast and was not disappointed by the HUGE pancake stack. It lasted us three days! They are very sweet and didn't even need the syrup. For a bit of savory, I ordered a side of their homemade mac cheese and it was amazing! It was cheesy and creamy, but not dry like some macaroni can be. There was a long wait but the staff was nice. The only thing that made me a little sad was to see styrofoam cups being served.
