City Metairie

It's an overall trashy establishment and sketchy clientele. Wouldn't recommend at all.

City Bar Metairie is a sports bar located on Veterans close to the I-10 interstate. They offer specials for steaks on Thursdays. My husband and I visited and had no issues. Its casual attire, host an extremely long bar with lots of Televisions for sports viewing, booths and high top tables. It was safe for us , no issues with locales. Food was decent as well and bartenders were friendly and sufficient enough for the setting. Its basically just a sports bar that has a decent Louisiana food menu. We had no issues with safety but can't speak past the previous comments.

Not too impressed. The bar tenders are nice but some of the regular clientele are shady jerks. Be prepared to get hassled.

Meh. There is nothing appealing about this place besides the outdoor sign. This bar seems to change names and outdoor appearance often, but nothing inside changes. The inside is just a crappy looking dive bar and is not inviting at all. I'm not saying that this place is horrible or anything, just not great. If you are passing by and need a drink it'll get the job done.
