Excellent experience! I had the gumbo and a boiled shrimp platter. The service was fantastic, and the staff had a much better attitude during this visit.

The food was incredible and the server was exceptionally friendly! I can't recall his name, but he was very attentive, polite, and on top of everything. To the three ladies who dined here on Mardi Gras and left their server a tip of zero with a line through it, SHAME ON YOU! Your total bill was around $30; a $5 tip wouldn't have hurt you. That's just rude! To the server who had to deal with them, I'm really sorry you experienced that. I saw how you served their food, kept their drinks refilled, and even packed up the leftovers for them! If you don’t plan on tipping, you probably should skip going out to eat!

I took my parents to Deanie's in Bucktown for lunch, and they absolutely loved it. The food and atmosphere were wonderful. All three of us ordered the 'Mate Platter,' which included fried shrimp, oysters, and catfish served with fries. Everything was perfectly seasoned and incredibly fresh.

I wanted to celebrate my accomplishment of 'Community Manager of the Year '! So I took a 78 mile drive to do so. Bryson, my server had a great personality, he was friendly, helpful and definitely a people person! Oh did I say my grandson 's name is Bryson too!! The food was yummy and I was really surprised how good the carrot souffle was.

Has always been one of my local favorites. filled pork, speck wrapped garnel, small garden salad (with a very tasty spicy tomato Italian dressing,) small crooked augratin (my favorite menu item,) and a French baguette served warm. that's bleeding for me. we were immediately greeted, sat immediately and served immediately. I can't wait until I get back.
