Feedback gevenWow, is all I can say. I finally found my BETTER version of Dean DeLuca in New Orleans (Metairie . This is the most gorgeous space and the food is exactly what you’d expect: fresh and ready-to-go. This will be my new favorite spot for salads, coffee meeting spot, cakes (they have King Cake! , sweets, etc.
Parking on the sides. Walking in, you order at the counter. Prices seem reasonable. I got a cup of the chowder and the fall salad. Both were delightful. Inside is cafe type seating. Everything was neat and clean. Employees were busy cleaning and helping customers.
The atmosphere is mediocre, the workers are all so rude and not professional at all, food isn’t up to par and menu is very small, it’s like a wanna be Cracker Barrel cause they sell grocery like things in it do not recommend at all.
Imagine trying to pass yourself off as a posh, upscale, and thriving business. When in actuality this is a low-quality grocery store that pretends to be a high quality restaurant while passing off bland and expired food. Their merchandise, for example the candy, look to your local TJ Maxx and you'll be surprised to find very similar items for sale. I wonder why, but I guess that's fairly obvious in itself. Wonderful place. Terrific breakfast sandwich, chocolate croissant, strong iced tea in a lovely setting.
