Waffles On Maple Metairie

The gluten-free options have improved during my visits here. However, when the restaurant gets busy, delays can occur due to the staff's meticulous attention to each order. While I appreciate their dedication, I believe the seating capacity and order volume could be better managed during peak hours. The servers are incredibly helpful and proactive, clearly communicating if any items are unavailable and suggesting alternatives with what they do have, which I find refreshing. If they run out of something, you can be sure it's because it's popular! I can't wait to try their gluten-free beignets, biscuits, and crepes!

The experience was not particularly impressive. While the service was excellent and the staff were very friendly, the food itself was only mediocre. The pancakes were quite dry and lacked softness, though the omelette was excellent—fluffy and perfectly cooked. I found the prices to be quite steep given the quality of the food. Paying over $50 for breakfast for two seems excessive, especially since we only shared two entrees, an order of pancakes, coffee, and lemonade. Additionally, the menu doesn’t offer any meat options; a breakfast without bacon, ham, or sausage just feels incomplete. It's worth a visit, but don’t expect an exceptional breakfast experience, and be prepared for high prices.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant during our trip to New Orleans with my gluten-intolerant family. My sons enjoyed the gluten-free waffles and were very pleased with them. The coffee was pretty good, too. Just a heads-up: they are closed on Saturdays, or we would have definitely returned.

They have good gluten free selections!!! So happy! I ordered the waffle combo and gluten free biscuits! I was pleasantly surprised!

Terrible food! Pancakes are dry like corn bread and came out just as the photo showed like it was eaten already, and that margarita pizza looks like a school cheese pizza! I expected sliced tomatoes, fresh basil and better mozzarella, this was the worst.
