Whole Foods Market - Metairie

We might have just been unfortunate during our visit, as the salad bar had very few vegan options, there was nothing in the bakery, and they didn’t offer any vegan pizza either. It would be helpful if the vegan selections were clearly labeled, as that would make them much easier to find.

This Whole Foods location offers a variety of fresh vegan options at the salad bar, and they even have vegan pizza available!

As a local who visits this location regularly, I appreciate the good range of vegan grocery options available for home cooking. The selection of prepared vegan desserts is also on the rise. However, it's important to read labels carefully if you want to avoid products containing palm oil. This is an update from my previous review on September 2, 2017.
